Welcome

Every two years PhD candidates from the Division of Human Nutrition organise an international study tour.

This tour is an experience on scientific, cultural and social level to increase and strengthen the knowledge in nutrition research and related areas and establish new contacts. The tour provides an excellent opportunity to stimulate collaboration within the field of Human Nutrition.

Previous years, PhD candidates from our department went on study tours to Germany and Switzerland (1991), United Kingdom (1993), United States (1995 and 2007), Scandinavia (1997), South Africa (1999), Germany, Switzerland and Italy (2001), Australia (2003), UK and Ireland (2005) and Scandinavia (2009).

We are part of the Graduate School VLAG. Advanced education is an important part of the scientific training they stand for. Apart from attending courses and congresses this international study tour is organized every other year to contribute to our scientific training.

This year, we will visit a number of universities, institutes and companies in South West USA and Mexico.

We are looking forward to a very inspiring trip!
